Yay! We are more than half way through!
It is time for a few reminders and some information on what is happening around campus… there is actually a lot happening over the next few days as well as free events to register for heading into October.
Thursday 13th September, 2018
R U OK? Day is nearly here – a reminder that we’ve all got what it takes to ask, e you ok? and support those struggling with life not just on R U OK? Day but Every Day. https://www.ruok.org.au/
We are asking staff and students to show you care by:
- Wearing Yellow on the Day
- Supporting events on your campus and or/registering & holding an event such as a morning tea to connect and have meaningful conversation with others.
- Learn and practice how to feel comfortable asking, are you ok?
- Listening without judgement and supporting each other, when life gets a bit difficult.
We would really like to add to the events, which are already happening across our campuses.
So please, show your support, wear yellow on the day, or get involved & register your staff or student event by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
There are lots of ideas to choose from and resources to support you.
