Rundown of Reminders: End of Semester Edition

Here we are! The last rundown of reminders for the first semester of this year.

We’ve talked about Allocate+ numerous of times but here’s one last reminder that the Allocation Adjustment Mode for Allocate+ is currently open. This goes from the 16th of June 2017 to the 4th of August 2017. Make sure to check your timetable and sort out your schedule now rather than later to avoid the onslaught of the masses that will surely ask to be moved around to be accommodated. Make the most of the First Come, First Served option.

Check the opportunities tab on the SHE Blog

The past few weeks, we here at the SHE blog have been talking and rolling out posts about different opportunities that are open and would be the most advantageous experiences for students. They can all be found under that tab! We talk about exciting electives to incorporate into your degree, different international opportunities that might interest you, and so on.

Biomed Ball

One of the highlights of my 2016 was going to the Science Ball with all my friends. It was such a lovely, lovely night. It was a good time and I got to see everyone dress up and genuinely enjoy themselves outside of the context of university, which is basically what all fancy balls aim to do, right? So it’s super exciting that the Biomedical Science Students Society is throwing the first ever Biomed Ball.

Join them for a wonderful night at Leonda By The Yarra with canapes served on arrival, a three course meal, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, a DJ to get you dancing all night, a roaming photographer AND a photo booth.

EVERYONE is welcome (not only Biomed students so feel free to invite everyone you know who would love to dress up and be fancy for a night), you don’t want to miss this!

Purchase tickets from the Biomedical Science Students Society every day during the first week of Semester 2 in the Agora between 12-1 PM or head to our Facebook page to secure your tickets now

Have a wonderful winter break, everyone! See you in a bit!
